Before you start
Why is there a 24-page minimum?
Picture Books use Casewrap hardcover binding, which requires at least 24 interior pages. The builder shows your live page count before you reach checkout.
What is the difference between a short caption and a story?
A short-caption layout keeps the photograph large and allows only a brief caption. A story layout deliberately makes the photo smaller and reserves substantially more room for written text.
Can I use a photo on the cover?
Yes. A photograph already uploaded to the Picture Book can be selected for the cover without uploading it twice.
What happens if a photograph is too low resolution?
The builder estimates print quality for the selected layout. If an image is too small for a large placement, you can use a smaller layout or replace the photograph before ordering.
Can I mix photo pages and imported messages?
Yes. Photo pages, written pages and imported memory pages appear together in Your Book so you can move them into the sequence you want.
